Congratulations to our Junior
'B' Camogie players on their great performance on Saturday in their Leinster
Final. In the end it was Presentation Kilkenny who prevailed but all credit to
the determination of the St Mary's team who challenged right to the final
whistle.
You did us proud!

Congratulations to Mary Bohanna who came third in the Junior Hammer in the All-Ireland Finals in Dublin last Saturday. Well done Mary. Sincere thanks to Ms. Doyle for her great work with all the members of the school's Track and Field team.
Well done to all students who took part in Sports Day yesterday. We would like to thank all present for their enthusiasm and co-operation. We hope all who participated enjoyed the day.

Congratulations to our Minor Camogie team on their performance in Tuesday's Leinster semi-final against Borris. Despite a great second half display of courage and character it wasn't enough to pull back Borris' first half lead. Our thanks to all team members for their efforts all year, and to Leanne, Mrs Murphy and Mr McDonald for their work with the team.
Congratulations to Mary Bohana on winning the Minor Javelin and the Junior Hammer in the South Leinster Championships in Kilkenny on Wednesday last. Our thanks to Ms Doyle for her continued work with the school's Track and Field athletes.
Congratulations to the Minor Football team who had a magnificent victory over Ballyshannon of Longford in Portlaoise on Wednesday. The final score was St Mary's 7-7 Ballyshannon 4-7. Our thanks to Ms Kidd for her work with the team.
St. Mary's V's Good Counsel College
Thursday April 2nd sees our Minor Camogie team take on a Good Counsel College Minor team in a challenge match. Best of luck to all the players who are preparing for their big match against Borris. May the best team win!!
St Mary's reach another All-Ireland Final
Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd year Volleyball teams who performed brilliantly in yesterdays Southern Region Final in Kilkenny. One of our 1st year teams qualified for the All Ireland Finals which will be held in University College Dublin next term. It was a fight to the end for the girls who won their place in the finals on a count back of scores. Determination and grit won the day. Well done to all involved.
All Ireland Handball Finals
Congratulations to Sandra Kelly and Mairead Elmes who won the Under 18 All-Ireland Doubles at the National Finals held recently in Kingscourt Co. Cavan to take yet another National Title.
All Ireland Badminton Finals
Congratulations to Louise Bennett, Gemma Creane, Maureen Dunne and Emily Kent who carried the St Mary's colours proudly at the All-Ireland Schools Badminton Finals last weekend in Gormanstown College, Co. Meath. The girls fought to the end in fine displays of excellent Badminton, courage and character . Well done to you all.
Volleyball Regional Final
Congratulations to our 1st and 2nd year Volleyball teams who won the tournament they played last Friday. This was a great achievement as both groups beat schools from Cork, Limerick and Tralee to finish in first place. In the 1st year section our two teams finished both 1st and 2nd. Well done to all involved.
All Ireland "Junior C" Camogie Champions
