The Student Council Elections are taking place this Thursday the 13th of October.

On this day you will get the chance to elect a representative from your class to the student council. Ask yourself who could represent you and your class well. Who could do the most to improve school life for everyone?

So get thinking…who will you vote for on election day?

Thanks so much to everyone for their support last Thursday! The bake sale was a great success and we managed to raise over €450 for the Irish Hospice Foundation.

Congratulations to all the girls who got their Junior Cert results last week!

The student council will hold a coffee morning this coming Thursday the 15th at break-time to raise funds for the Irish Hospice Foundation. There will be lots of yummy cakes and buns on sale so be sure to show your support on the day!

There will be a meeting for all members of the student council at 1:30 in the Lantern Hall on Monday the 12th to plan for the Hospice Morning.

Congratulations to all the sixth year girls who got their results yesterday, and best wishes to them in whatever they decide to do next!

With the election of the School Prefects we have our first members of Student Council for 2011-12. They are:

We send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Katie Stafford, one of our 1st year Student Council Representatives, who suffered a broken leg in a recent horse riding accident. Hope you’re feeling better soon Katie.
